It is lovely of you to take a real interest in helping your friend find something doable. The best kind of business to build would be something he/she would really love or enjoy. It takes a lot of time and effort to build an online business, so you might as well love what you are doing.

The only trouble with an online business is that it will take a few months (for most people) to really get the ball rolling. It is not get rich quick, but once you get things going, you will get a slow and steady increase that will be long term.
