curiousgirl asked:

I used to work in travel as a “reservations agent”: booking air, hotel, car, etc. I loved it so much. Right now I work in customer service, but it’s not travel related. I’m really interested in starting a home based travel agency. Has anyone does this or can anyone share ideas on how to ideally get this started? I appreciate any advice..thanks so much!

The internet has practically put the traditional travel agent out of business. What you might consider (depending on your area and what’s available) is group tours to local attractions or tourist spots. Contact the parks and see what their group rates are, negotiate for a lower price if possible, then charter transportation to and from, and charge your customers a set price for the group. Whatever you decide, good luck.

Great Question!

I have a home based online travel agency. I work under a great umbrella company. We have partnerships established with Priceline, World Choice Travel which is a division of Travelocity, Hotels.com, HotRateHotels.com & Many Many More. It is great to work with, easy to get started and use. Great Monetary benefits and unbelievable GUARANTEED Residual income.

Email me for more details and check out the sites mentioned below.
