You’ve just made an invitation to be bombarded with all kinds of scams.

Well, you could start first with puttn your name out there. Build a website to sell and promote your product, which will be easy to manage from anywhere. Then I’d buy a premise to sell your goods. Don’t forget to advertise! Mention it online, put ads in the paper, etc. etc.

I have my own home based business making all natural soy candles. check out my website for more info
of course you’ll have to invest in any home based business you go with so click on “How to Join” and see the different candle starter kits. One to suit your wants. I wholesale, retail, do custom gift baskets, and do fundraisers. you can even sell them online if that’s what interest you.

There’s two ways you can go about having a home based business.

You can invest in one of many home biz opportunities available. You basically subscribe as a member (usually by purchasing one or more of the company’s products), and then you gain the rights to sell their products. You also recruit other distributors that work beneath you, and earn you a commission each time they make a sale as well. These are network marketing, MLM, and direct sales companies.

However, there are several drawbacks to these types of businesses. One is that you don’t have any ownership. The products don’t belong to you, the company isn’t owned by you, and your downline members may or may not remain loyal to you. If the company shuts it’s doors, changes it’s prices or products, or simply kicks you out, you’re dead in the water.

In essence, all you are is a high commissioned sales person. It works, but it has it’s dangers.

A much better solution is to sell information products. The online information marketing industry offers the same exact benefits as a network marketing or MLM company (passive, residual income), and same potentially wealthy lifestyle. The advantage is that you don’t have any of the drawbacks mentioned above.

You create and own the information product, the company is yours, the websites are yours, and all the profits are yours. You don’t have to bother with recruiting sales people that may leave you or do nothing, and you don’t have to worry about training them and putting up with their complaints and frustrations.

In other words, you will have a REAL business that can be extremely lucrative for you quickly.

Most people simply don’t know how to get into the information marketing business, or are too intimidated by it because they perceive it to be difficult. However, it’s really not, and there are tools for you to learn how to build an online information business to a full-time income within months, even if you’re starting from absolute scratch.

Shiraz Khan and Nitro Marketing have built a strong reputation for teaching people how to build an internet business from scratch using a powerful 10-step process.

Hello- If you want to start a home business I would recommend doing some research into the TYPE of business you want to run first. Here are some questions to ask yourself…
Are you a people person?
Do you want to make and sell your products or do you just want to sell from a distributor.
Do you want to buy inventory or do you want the company to distribute it for you once the customer has ordered.
Do you want to be responsible for collecting money from customers or do you want the company to do that for you.
Are you good at talking to people (if not maybe a outsourcing job would be more your style)
Also check how much $ the company wants from you “up front” and what the continuing “fees” may be. Be sure you check out the compensation plans as well, some are more generous than others. The company I chose when I was looking for a part-time job has a 50% return to it’s distributors (very rare) and I am now making between $800-$1100 a month depending on how much I put into it that month. This company is my third (and last) Network marketing type job I’ve chosen and this one that has the best compensation plan I’ve ever seen, but more importantly it fits int my lifestyle perfectly. I hope this was helpful. Check out my website if you want, @

In picking out a home based business the first question you want to ask yourself is: What do I feel passionate about? Choose something that you know you can throw your heart into.

Next you have to ask yourself what you are willing or not willing to do. Do you like to do direct sales? Home demo parties? Cold calls? If you’re okay with those things then the door is open to many options. If not, then you need to look for something that doesn’t involve those sorts of things.

You also want to decide how much you want to invest. Do you want a business with a very low start up cost or do you want something that the higher amount of money you invest, the more you make immediately?

Maybe you want to do home assembly….typing, data entry?Trading your time for money as some people are happy to do? Or maybe you want something that with your input will keep growing along with your income even though it may be slow starting? Something with a residual income?

Can you see now that there are a lot of questions you need to ask yourself? Once you’ve answered that, you’ll be able to ask a more refined question and get a more refined answer….and whatever it is you decide you want…..I wish you all the success in the world!

Thanks for reading my answer and I hope it helps….cheers!

well, I understand your concerns about setting up a home based business needs a lot of issues to be kept in mind which are truely immense and one can not be good in all..
Business means buying something for less and selling for high. In this world millions of products are there it is very difficult to figure out which one you should choose to deal with. Then comes licence, knowledge about the market
trends and above all to stay in the market the research & development of the products you are dealing with. In business it is always better to have exlclusive rights of products to you. So to take care of all these exhaustive list of
activities on your behalf there is one multi billion dollar company with a track record of almost 50 years and world wide presence in almost 92 countries.
Another company is to provide the neccessary support and education to any aspiring person who is willing to set up home based business, works in unison with earier mentioned company.
Only part to do in this business is to take the support of all these already laid out things to run our own business.
Meaning no headache of taking orders of the products, delivery and return of the products.
On top of all that mentioned there is a dedicated team of people in nearly every city of the world who has a vested interest in your success and has already started home based
business like you, so they have first hand and detailed knowledge about the entire thing. I am also one among them,
who started from the scratch with couple of dollars only to start with, no financial risk, no inventry of plethora of products to store. And millions of products at our disposal…
Please feel free to ask me for all neccessary support needed.

Story Time Felts on 1 May, 2009 at 11:20 pm #

I just spent the last few months searching for a home based business/home party plan, whatever I could find. I have done home party plans before but most that are out there, I’m just not interested in. Some of them, it’s just too much to carry, others, the product is too heavy, and yet others there’s a gozillion reps already in the company.
I finally found Story Time Felts, since I’m a fairly new grandma, I found this to be perfect for me. The products aren’t too heavy to carry, and not only can I do home parties but I can offer our products to daycares, preschools, elementary schools. I can set up at craft fairs, county fairs, and even Saturday markets. I also do a lot of online events too. Let me know if there’s anything I can do for you, would love to help!
